Target groups

Community Foundations/local funds: ARC wants to facilitate development of the mechanisms and of local institutions based on mobilizing resources. Through them are reunited various groups from community that decide together the priorities and those institutions mobilizes resources for them. Through community foundations and organizations similar to ARC it can reach indirectly a large number of small companies and organizations that could benefit from an involvement in such a network.

Non-gouvernamental organizations interested in improving relationship with the community and in fundraising activities: we will continue working with romanian NGOs interested in enhancing the interactions with the community and to mobilize resources within it. We want to support their efforts of learning, exchange of experience, pilot projects of mobilizing resources, creating and implementation of their own plans of mobilizing resources, to promote an ethical approach for fundraising and a transparent and financial responsability. We will give special attention to the evolution of professional practice in the field of mobilizing resources.

Individual donors: We are building mechanisms through which the donations would become more simple and more efficient, transparent and safe. We offer information about donation mechansims and selection principles of beneficiar organizations. We develop awareness campaigns so that donations, volunteering and social involvement to be a permanent part of our lives.

Companies socially involved and companies' foundations: We identify and develop relationships with the key representatives of business field that have social involvement programmes. We promote the continuation and the evolution of social involvement programmes and we support those who want to enhance their programmes. Together with our partners (especially associations of business people or companies) we elaborate the links between the ones involved in planning, implementation and evaluation of social involvement programmes from the business sector.

Legislative and politics decisional factors: we try to build a discussion frame with the Minister of Public Finance, The National Bank of Romania regarding the existing legal frame and new legislative initiatives that could support the field of mobilizing resources in the use of communities. We can contribute with researches and case studies, or we can propose new mechanisms based on relevant experiences in international context and our own experinece.
