“The behavioral change is at the same level of misunderstanding at which was the sustainability five years ago and the CSR ten years ago” was stating Toby Webb (Ethical Corporation) at the third annual meeting of the London Benchmarking Group Romania.

On 12th september, within this meeting, together with 60 attendees – CSR and HR practicioners, were brought in discussion the future directions of CSR.

The messages passed on by the interantional invitees: Elaine Cohen(Beyond Business), Toby Webb si John Scade (MAS Business Spania) were emphasising that CSR reporting and the report of sustainable practices of companies will become more and more required. More than this, CSR practice will develope quickly in others areas of the field, business ethics being one of the most relevant area.

Elaine Cohen has presented case studies that prooved the fiancial impact of CSR programmes – for example, encoutering the "green" policy of the company, US Postal Service saved $27 millions. Therefore, begining with the fact that HR accounts have a major role in building the responsible behaviour, Elaine resumed the idea that “employees don't need only money, but they need significant projects that involve them as well”.
